Making daily progress easier to track

I redesigned daily tracking and the visual identity for MyHapp, a Swedish fitness app built around a ten-week program. The aim was to make logging an activity simple and progress easier to see.

The problem and my role

People were skipping activity logs and struggling to see progress through the ten-week program. I worked with one engineer on the app design and handoff, alongside its visual identity. I focused on a simple daily confirmation and a dashboard showing the full program. One made logging quick. The other helped people see how individual activities added up over time.

A warmer visual identity

Logo concept: soft and approachable, combining a heart, an activity figure and a check mark

Color palette

Palette: pure white, tasty orange, sunny yellow, pink, light pink, night green and day green

Typography

Poppins specimen, Aa Bb
Type scale: headline, sub-headline and body text in Poppins

Brand applications

Runner in a MyHapp shirt beside the brand colors
Brand grid: a smiling man, a Dag 28 badge and the line Träning och kombinerat familjeliv
Three black MyHapp T-shirts on hangers
MyHapp billboard with a runner and a woman training, on a street wall

The app experience

  • Recipe for chicken dumplings
  • Profile with the current streak
  • Progress across the ten-week program
  • Library of workouts and videos
